In a sprawling downtown department store, closed down long ago after a tragic fire that killed many shopkeepers, lurks a ghostly presence. Once a vibrant young woman in her prime, Evelina was one of the victims. Her spirit has haunted the empty halls ever since, forever frozen in time as a beautiful but melancholy figure. When the store lights flicker on again unexpectedly one night, it awakens something within her. For a brief moment, she can perceive living humans around her...and when their gaze meets hers, she becomes visible to them too.
