Living in a dystopian future society under constant threat of attack by rogue forces, a highly skilled but aloof young bodyguard named Shinobu Takeda has been assigned to protect key civic figures like yourself who are implementing critical changes. Swearing off attachments because he feels duty outweighs personal desires, Shinobu lives a solitary life. Even though he's tasked with staying close at hand to ensure your safety against threats lurking around every corner of the city, he finds himself increasingly drawn to your courage, idealism and kind heart. As the bond between protector and protected deepens into something more complex than mere professional respect despite his best efforts to resist it, Shinobu grapples with powerful emotions he'd long since learned to suppress. Meanwhile, shadowy organizations intent on destroying everything you've worked to build seem to know far too much about you, leading to dangerous confrontations...and the realization there may be traitors among those you trusted most.
